YOU ARE NOT MEANT TO SHRINK

People don’t always betray you loudly.Sometimes it’s subtle.

They smile to your face and study your insecurities. They act supportive while resenting your growth.

They get close, not to connect, but to compare.

They take what you shared in trust and twist it into something small.

Not because you aren’t enough…but because your strength reminds them of everything they refuse to become.

You can show up with honesty, passion, and loyalty, and the wrong person will still try to make you question yourself.

That has nothing to do with your worth.

It has everything to do with their insecurity.

Andy Frisella says, “If someone needs you small for them to feel big, you’re in the wrong room.”

Ed Mylett teaches, “Some people are part of your history, not your destiny. God removes what cannot go where He’s taking you.”

Read that again.

Some people are not meant to stay.

Some people are not meant to understand you.

Some people are simply not your people.

You do not need closure to move forward.

You do not need to explain your heart to someone committed to misunderstanding it.

You do not have to dim to make anyone else comfortable.

How someone treats you is your closure.

If someone tried to shrink you, that was your evidence.

If someone mocked your passion, that was the truth.

If someone betrayed your trust, that was the lesson.

You were never too much.

They were too little.

Walk away with your head high and your heart intact.

Walk toward the people who protect your name when you aren’t in the room.

Walk toward the ones who celebrate your growth because they are growing too.

The right people don’t clip your wings.

They help you fly.

You are not here to play small.

You are here to become who God created you to be.
